I am finding they have made changes to their login process at some point in january which make things a lot more hassle So yes, you do need a mobile phone in order to continue using online banking, but no, you don't need to use your phone (other than to receive a text). My wife and i would both use the same computer to check online banking (both santander c/a), she doesn't have the santander app on her phone either
